Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Electro-mechanical Design Lead Engineer, you will:

Execute Detailed Designs: Carry out mechanical engineering designs for buildings including schools, clinics, shelters, and warehouses using CAD and specialized design software.

Prepare Tender Documents: Contribute to the creation of special specifications and descriptions for the Bill of Quantities (BoQs).

Innovate & Green: Search for emerging technologies and materials to incorporate cost-effective, reliable, and sustainable "green" elements into designs.

Technical Advising: Provide expert assessments, write comprehensive inspection reports, and offer remediation plans for Agency premises.

Field Support: Coordinate closely with Construction teams to resolve design issues and accurately update as-built drawings.

Manage Consultants: Assist in drafting Terms of Reference (ToRs) and supervise external consultants to ensure compliance with Agency standards.
Who We Are Looking For (Requirements)
Education
-
A university degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university or institution.
Work Experience
-
Minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience, with at least two (2) years dedicated to the design of public buildings and developmental projects.

Proficiency in mechanical design software and computer-aided design (AutoCAD) is required.
-
Knowledge of modern environmental "greening" approaches and safety compliance is highly desirable.
Languages
-
Fluency (UN Level II) in both English and Arabic is required across reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
Compensation & Benefits
-
Base Salary: JD 919.80 monthly plus a 60% Special Occupation Allowance (SOA).

Benefits: Monthly Provident Fund contribution (15.4% from the Agency), compulsory medical insurance, and dependency allowance (if applicable).

Leave Package: 30 days of annual leave, 2 days of sick leave per month, 14 weeks of maternity leave, and 2 weeks of paternity leave.
